1. Data Stored by the App
Routy stores goals, routines, records, todos, reminders, and app settings locally on your device.
The app works offline and does not require account creation or sign-in.
2. Storage and Retention
- Core app data is stored only on the user’s device.
- Routy stores goals, routines, records, todos, reminders, and app settings in local on-device storage.
- Routy does not store core routine or todo data on a developer-operated remote server.
- When the user exports data, a .routy backup file may be created on the device or shared by the user.
3. Permissions
- Notifications: routine and todo reminders
- Calendar: importing calendar events into todos
- Reminders: importing reminders into todos on supported iOS devices
- Files / Photo Library: importing, exporting, or sharing .routy backup files
4. Advertising Identifiers (Google AdMob)
Routy uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google and its partners may process certain data for advertising, fraud prevention, performance, and measurement purposes.
This may include advertising identifiers and ad interaction data such as ad impressions or clicks.
Routy currently applies an app-level maximum ad content rating of Teen (T) and blocks selected sensitive ad categories within AdMob.

5. Data Sharing
Routy does not provide a backend account system for storing your core routine or todo data on a remote server.
However, third-party services such as Google AdMob may process data according to their own policies.
6. Your Choices
- You can deny permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can remove app data by deleting the app or using in-app delete options where available.
- You can choose whether to use backup/export features.
